Here’s a very nice old pine wardrobe with a single door and a classic cornice top. The door is four panelled, and the sides are panelled as well, giving the piece a strong, traditional look. It’s flat on the top, useful for baskets or additional storage if needed.

The wardrobe is in great condition for its age and dates from around 1900, possibly a little earlier. It is currently in bare wood, having been stripped from its original painted finish. The door is hung on French-style external hinges, which allow it to open wide and make access easy.

Inside, there is currently no hanging rail, but one can be fitted for you. If you don’t need full hanging height, a shelf with a rail underneath could also be installed. The internal depth is generous, making it suitable for coats and bulkier garments.

This wardrobe completely dismantles for delivery, so it can be taken upstairs with ease.
