A very distinctive Victorian pine blanket chest, raised on unusually tall bracket feet—an addition made at some point, giving it a quirky and appealing character.

The chest has a rustic charm with a solid, sturdy structure. While it shows some cosmetic wear consistent with age, it remains in good overall condition. It features its original penny-end strap hinges and metal carrying handles on both ends. The lock is present, but we don’t have a key, so not usable.

Tidy at the back as well—ideal for placing anywhere in a room.
