A very rare example of an old English pine Seaman’s chest. The base deeper than at the top giving a distinctive ‘wedge’ shape appearance.

Dating from the late 1800’s, and currently in bare wood (and in very good condition for its age), having recently been stripped.

A carrying handle on both ends, and currently a chain to prevent the top from falling back when opened.
