A large, very sturdy and chunky very old pine flat top box. ‘Christ’s Hospital London’ written on the front, and ‘F T Lethbridge’ engraved in the top.
With carrying handles on both ends, a candle box compartment inside on the right, the original large ‘penny end’ strap hinges, and metal structural supports on the edges.
A very solid and sturdy old pine box/chest. Originally painted, now stripped. Can be purchased as it is (in bare wood) for £380, or waxed: £427
