Here’s a lovely medium sized Victorian pine blanket box we have for sale.

It has a metal carrying handle on either end and its original “penny end” strap hinges. The piece is nice, clean, and tidy all over, currently in bare wood. Price: £290 as it is, or £327 if you’d like it waxed.

The lock doesn’t work, as the catch is missing. The back is tidy as well, so you could easily place it in the middle of a room and use it as a coffee table.
