Glazed 2 Door 1920’s Pine Display Cabinet (J7206C)
Glazed 2 Door 1920’s Pine Display Cabinet (J7206C)
Here’s a lovely 1920s glazed (partly glazed) display cabinet, full of character and in very nice condition for its age. It features two doors with glazed upper panels and stands on bun feet at the front with square block feet at the back.
Inside, there are currently three shelves, and they are not fixed, so they can be rearranged to suit your needs. The doors open fully, which can be especially useful if the cabinet is being placed somewhere a little tight for space.
Price: £540 as it is, or £627 if you’d like it waxed. When waxing, I would usually also wax the interior of the top section behind the glazed area, though this can be discussed depending on your preference.
The top is flat, with a small groove detail that’s quite typical of pieces from this period and can be filled if preferred.
If the cabinet is going into an alcove, just be aware that when the doors open to around 90°, they extend slightly beyond the main width, so you may want to allow a little extra clearance.
Dimensions: height 61", width 39.5", depth 16"
