Here we have a very pretty Edwardian pine washstand with a marble top and a beautifully tiled back panel.

The tiled splashback appears to retain its original tiles, adding plenty of period charm and character. Beneath the marble top is a single drawer, and below that a useful shelf supported by slender turned legs with original castors.

The washstand is in great condition for its age and is currently in bare wood, having been stripped relatively recently. The drawer runs smoothly, and the piece retains its original metal handles.

The marble top has a few very minor age-related blemishes, as you would expect, but overall it presents very well and complements the piece beautifully.

A lovely decorative and practical Edwardian piece, ideal for use as a washstand, side table, or feature piece.
