Here’s a small antique pine wardrobe, which could also serve as a generous storage cupboard. Dating from around the 1920s, it has two nicely panelled doors with attractive detailing throughout, along with a single drawer at the bottom.

The wardrobe is flat on top, making it practical for additional storage, and features lovely vertical columns running down either side of the doors. It stands on bun feet at the front, with the typical square block feet at the back.

Inside, it is currently empty. The internal depth is 18", which is suitable for most clothing, though it may be a little tight for particularly bulky coats or suits. A slight hinge adjustment and minor door squeak will be taken care of, and the drawer will be checked to ensure it runs smoothly.

Please note: this wardrobe does not dismantle for delivery, so if it needs to go upstairs, careful measuring is advised.

The pine has a naturally warm tone even in bare wood, so if you’re considering waxing, a lighter finish such as honey may suit it better than a darker antique brown.
