Here’s a nice large old pine cupboard, or small wardrobe. It dates from around the 1920s and is in very nice condition for its age.

It has two doors with a full-width drawer at the bottom, along with a shaped cornice top and some lovely detailing around the corners. The piece is currently in bare wood, having recently been stripped of its original paint.

Inside, it is empty at present but retains its original hanging pegs at the back. These can be kept, and a hanging rail can be fitted if required. Alternatively, shelving could be added if you’d prefer to use it as a cupboard. The internal depth is 19", making it suitable for hanging most adult clothing.

The bottom drawer will be checked and can be improved with a little wax to ensure it runs smoothly.
