Here’s a very attractive antique pine double wardrobe.

It has a small shaped crown section on top, 2 main panelled doors with nice detailing across the front. The wardrobe sits on large bun feet at the front and square block feet at the back, which is typical of the period.

There are small metal escutcheons on the key plates, and the piece is nice and clean all over. It was originally painted but has since been stripped, so it is currently in bare wood.

Inside, there are hanging pegs along the back (two missing, which can be replaced if desired). At the base, there’s a shelf with two drawers that appear to have been added more recently. This unit simply lifts off, so if you don’t want the drawers, it can be removed easily, revealing the standard footwell beneath.

As with all of our wardrobes, I can fit a new brass hanging rail at the top for you. If the shelf with drawers is removed, you’d have extra hanging height, and I could also add a shelf with a rail underneath if you’d prefer (shelves are £40 each).

This wardrobe completely dismantles for delivery, so it should go up any stairway. I can usually deliver myself depending on your location, or we can arrange delivery through a courier.

The internal depth is 19.5", measured from the back of the wardrobe to the back of the doors, so it’s suitable for hanging coats and large suits etc.
