Large German Triple 1930’s Pine Wardrobe (Dismantles) (J7805E)
Large German Triple 1930’s Pine Wardrobe (Dismantles) (J7805E)
Here’s a great example of a German triple pine wardrobe dating from the 1930s. It features three drawers along the bottom and (green frosted) glazed panels at the top of each door, with a gently curved top front below a flat top section.
The wardrobe is in really good condition for its age — clean, tidy, and solid throughout. The drawers slide smoothly, and the locks and keys on the doors are all working well. The small glazed panels have a greenish tint, which could be changed if you’d prefer different glass.
Inside, it is currently empty, giving you plenty of flexibility. A hanging rail can be fitted at the top, and there’s enough height to add a shelf with a rail underneath if you’d like a mix of storage and hanging space. On one side there are signs of previous shelving, with one remaining shelf still in place. More shelves can be added if you’d prefer a fully shelved interior. The internal depth is 21", so it’s deep enough for coats, suits, and bulkier clothing.
Like most triple German pine wardrobes, this one completely dismantles for delivery, so it should go up most stairways without issue.
Price: £925 as it is, or £1,050 if you’d like it waxed.
Dimensions: height 80", width 63", depth 23.5", internal depth 21"
