Large Antique Pine Double Wardrobe (Dismantles) (K1303F)
Large Antique Pine Double Wardrobe (Dismantles) (K1303F)
Here we have a very large antique pine wardrobe dating from around 1910–1915. It has two full-height doors, a flat top (useful for additional storage), a slight step beneath the cornice, and attractive detailing to the top corners. The sides and doors are panelled, and it stands on its original bun feet at the front with square block feet at the back — typical of this period.
The wardrobe is in really nice condition for its age. It was originally painted and has recently been stripped, so it is currently in bare wood — clean and tidy throughout.
Inside, it is empty at present, giving you flexibility. A hanging rail can be fitted (included in the price), and as there’s good internal height, you may prefer a shelf near the top with a hanging rail underneath. Shelves can be added at approximately £35 each if required. The internal depth is 21", so it’s nice and deep — suitable for larger coats, suits, and bulkier garments.
It comes with a lovely large key, and the lock is working well.
The wardrobe fully dismantles for delivery, so it should go up most stairways without issue. Delivery and assembly can usually be arranged in person depending on your location, or courier delivery can be organised if you’re further away.
Code: K1303F
Price: £1,000 as it is, or £1,150 if you’d like it waxed (both prices include fitting of a new hanging rail).
Dimensions: height 79.5", width 60" (widest point at top), depth 27" (at top), internal depth 21"
