Beautiful Early 19th Century Pine Wardrobe (Dismantles) (L0100N)

from £2,100.00

A beautiful and very early pine wardrobe dating from around 1820 to 1830 — a genuinely impressive piece that is quite rare at this age and in this condition.

The wardrobe is beautifully panelled all over and features a lovely large cornice at the top. The doors are mounted on external hinges, which allows them to open almost fully — a very practical feature. The original lock and key are present, along with the original knobs and escutcheon plates.

The piece is in great condition for its age and offers an excellent internal depth of 20.5 inches, which means there is plenty of room for hanging large coats and suits.

A new brass hanging rail can be fitted inside at the top if required. As the wardrobe is quite tall, a shelf could also be fitted near the top with the hanging rail positioned beneath it — something we are happy to discuss. The interior currently has hanging pegs, which can be removed or repositioned as preferred.

This wardrobe totally dismantles for delivery.
