Here’s a very sweet little antique pine dresser, full of charm and character. Its compact proportions make it a particularly useful piece for a kitchen, dining room, hallway, or any room where space is at a premium.

The dresser consists of a base unit with a small top section. On the upper section there are two open shelves on the left and a small cupboard on the right, providing a nice combination of display and concealed storage. Below are two small drawers fitted with attractive original brass drop handles.

Inside the base is a shelf with a divider beneath, which also acts as additional support. The upper cupboard section also contains a shelf.

Originally painted, the dresser has been stripped and finished in a very light wax, giving it a clean and bright appearance while still allowing the character of the pine to show through. It is in very nice condition overall and is almost ready to go, with only a small catch still to be fitted to the upper right-hand door.
