A tall and elegantly slim pitch pine dresser display cabinet, most likely dating from around 1930.

The top section is fixed to the base and does not dismantle from the base. It features two leaded glazed sliding doors — a particularly attractive and unusual detail — behind which sit two internal shelves. The base comprises a large drawer at the top with a single cupboard door below.

The piece is in pretty good condition but has faded considerably and is in definite need of re-waxing (or maybe a coat of paint?) to revive its warm, rich, pitchy tones. Being pitch pine, this cabinet has a wonderful depth of colour and character that sets it apart from standard pine furniture. Available as it stands or fully restored and re-waxed.
