Here’s a very interesting English 1920s pine dresser — tall, slim, and elegant in its proportions.

The top section features two glazed doors with adjustable shelves inside. The shelves sit on slot-in supports, so you can position them to suit your needs. The doors are fitted with brass sliding catches, and the locks are working nicely.

The base has two drawers over two cupboard doors, with a single fixed shelf inside. The drawer handles are metal cup handles (a lovely period detail), and all drawers will be checked to ensure they slide smoothly.

The piece was originally painted, later stripped and waxed. The current finish is a little tired, so it will be fully cleaned back and properly re-waxed, which will really enhance the overall look. The left hand base door catch will also be repositioned higher up for easier everyday use.

Please note: this dresser does not dismantle for delivery and is one solid piece, so access should be checked carefully due to its height.
