Here’s a very attractive small old pine wardrobe, or storage cupboard, full of lovely detail and character.

It features two nicely panelled doors with beautiful vertical columns running down each side, giving it a strong, decorative look. Below is a single drawer fitted with brass handles, and it slides smoothly. The wardrobe stands on its original bun feet at the front with square block feet at the back — typical of the period — and it has a flat top, which is always useful for additional storage.

Inside, it is currently empty. At some point, shelves were fitted, so these could be reinstated if required. Alternatively, a hanging rail can be installed at the top. With an internal depth of 19", it provides suitable hanging space for most clothing.

The doors are mounted on external hinges, allowing them to open fully. Please note that when open, they extend slightly beyond the overall width, so if placing in an alcove or tight space, allow a little extra clearance.

This wardrobe does not dismantle for delivery, so please measure access carefully if it needs to go upstairs.
