Here’s a very sweet little pine cupboard, likely dating from the 1920s. It has some very attractive detailing, with turned bun feet at the front and square block feet at the back.

The layout is two drawers over two doors. Each drawer has a small wooden knob, and interestingly, the right-hand drawer has a lock with a sideways keyhole — quite an unusual feature and not something you see very often.

The piece is in very nice condition for its age and is currently in bare wood. The drawers just need a little candle wax along the runners to make them slide perfectly smoothly.

Inside the cupboard is a single shelf.

A neat and characterful little storage piece.
