Large Early Victorian Pine Housekeepers Cupboard (N7700I)

from £1,350.00

A very large early Victorian pine housekeeper’s cupboard, with beautifully panelled doors and plenty of storage. The upper section has two doors, a central partition and two fitted shelves on each side. The base has three drawers above two cupboard doors, with a central partition and a shelf on each side. The top separates from the base for delivery.

The brass drawer drop handles and escutcheons appear to be original. It is currently in bare wood and needs a little restoration, including a door adjustment and attention to the drawer stops. A section has been cut from the upper central partition; the loose piece appears to be the original and may be refitted.

Price: £1,350 exactly as it stands, or £1,550 restored and waxed. Please contact us before buying it as it stands so we can give you a full condition report, including confirmation of the locks. Item reference: N7700I.
