Here we have a small antique pine single-door wardrobe, dating from around 1900–1910. It’s a neat and practical piece, ideal where space is a little more limited.

The wardrobe has a single door opening from left to right, with a drawer below, and a flat top (which could be used for additional storage). It is currently in bare wood, having been stripped from its original painted finish, and is in very nice condition for its age.

The door is mounted on external French-style hinges, allowing it to open fully — a useful feature, especially in tighter spaces.

Inside, it is currently empty, though there is evidence of previous shelving. Shelves can be added if you’d prefer, or a hanging rail can be fitted. With an internal depth of 17", it’s best suited to smaller garments such as shirts or children’s clothing, as it would be a little tight for larger coats or suits.
