Here we have a lovely antique pine base unit dating from around the 1920s. It features three drawers on the left-hand side and a shaped panelled cupboard door on the right, all sitting on its original feet.

The piece is in very nice condition for its age. The drawers and door are fitted with attractive brass knobs, and the drawers slide smoothly. Behind the cupboard door is a single shelf, which currently rests on small supports and can be lifted out if you’d prefer a different arrangement.

At some point the cupboard would have had a lock fitted. A later catch has been added near the top of the door, and it may be possible to source and fit a replacement lock if required.

Overall, it’s a neat and useful storage piece with plenty of character.
