This is a sideboard or dresser base that our carpenter has just made. It’s been crafted from old pine, which tends to wax up beautifully—often with a richer finish than newer timber.

The piece features beautifully panelled sides and doors. Behind each pair of doors is a shelf, with the interior divided neatly down the centre. At the moment, there are no catches, locks, or knobs fitted to the doors or drawers, so you can choose exactly what you’d like. I have a selection of suitable knobs and fittings available, or I can source alternatives to suit your preference.
