Here’s a lovely old Georgian pine box with classic bracket-style feet. It’s in very nice condition for its age and is clean and tidy all round, including the back, so it could be placed freely in a room if needed.

The lid is fitted with its original strap hinges and opens to reveal a traditional candle box on the right-hand side. Inside, it’s clean and well preserved. There are strengthening braces fitted beneath the lid, giving it good structural support — it could even be used as occasional seating with a cushion on top to help distribute the weight.

The box is currently in bare wood and would wax up beautifully if you’d like a finished look. The price is £390 as it is, or £427 if you’d like it waxed.
