Pinefinders was founded in 2001. Our Warehouse is situated on the Oxon and Bucks border close to the very old market town of Thame. See map.

We sell mostly antique pine furniture, but also furniture which has been made from new or reclaimed pine, or rustic or clean old pine floorboards.

We take great pride in the quality of our furniture and in the tasteful restoration and finishing of each piece.

We usually have a great selection of genuine old pine furniture, always a good amount of wardrobes, cupboards and chests of drawers.

We can also make furniture from new pine.

We can finish the restored pine furniture in a wax polish finish or a distressed shabby chic painted finish using Farrow and Ball paint. See Farrow & Ball Paint Colours

Nearly all of our furniture is old, the oldest pieces dating from the early 1800’s, and has been gathered from all over Europe. From Victorian Pine Furniture to reclaimed. We also have contacts in Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Romania, France, East Germany and Russia to name but a few.

Furniture in the bare wood (Unfinished Antique Pine)

Nearly all of the old furniture we sell was originally painted. This furniture is stripped before it comes to us, and you will notice that most of the pieces in the warehouse are still in the bare wood, and they sometimes require a little restoration.

Although most of our customers like us to wax finish the piece of furniture for them, some customers prefer a painted finish. This is why I show the furniture in the raw, bare wood state.

The prices on the website are for the piece when totally restored and wax finished.

Some of our customers enjoy restoring and waxing (or painting) the pieces themselves, so a customer is welcome to buy a piece of furniture in the bare wood for a discounted price (please ask for details).

We have a high turnover of stock as we also sell to many antique and furniture outlets around the country, so there is always something new to be seen in our warehouse.
