Standard sized painted panelled or ledged & braced doors. Stripping: £30 each + VAT. Polishing: £45 each + VAT.
Average sized painted chest of drawers. Stripping: £40 + VAT. Polishing: £45 + VAT. (Please phone for a restoration estimate)
Obviously the stripping, restoration, and wax polishing of different types and sizes of furniture will vary tremendously, so please phone for an estimate.
Please remove all stickers, Cellotape stickers, hooks, panel pins, knobs, handles from the door/piece of furniture you would like stripped. Anything that sticks out or masks the paint must be removed.
Hinges and locks can be left on unless they are aluminium (which will corrode).
As we use a heated caustic solution dipping process we cannot strip hollow panelled/sapele doors. Also modern water based acrylic paint and primers, and some acrylic and 2 pack varnishes will not strip.
